A) STUDIES:
- Technological Prospective Study in e-Health, in collaboration with OPTI (Industrial Technology Prospection Observatory).
- Technological Prospective Studies in Biomaterials and Minimally Invasive
- Surgery, in collaboration with OPTI (Industrial Technology Prospection Observatory).
- Market Study in the area of Traumathology Implants, updated semesterly.
- Release of the first Market Study in the area of Cardiovascular Implants.
- Development of the structure of the Market Study in the Dental sector.
- Development of the structure of the Market Study in the Single Use Medical Devices sector.
- Coordination of the IVD (In Vitro Diagnostics) Incomes/Salary Study, edited by Watson&Wyatt.
- Data market analyse by sectors, related to the data base available.
- Analyse of the Health Budgets of the 17 Spanish Autonomous Regions, including the specific chapters referred to Health Technology.
- Coordination of the Study about the Contribution of the Healthcare
- Technology companies to the sustainability of the Spanish Health System edited by PriceWaterhouseCoopers. The document will be released in 2007.
B) INFORMATION ACTIVITIES:
- Follow up and answer requests made by companies, institutions or official agents in reference to the data market in Healthcare Technology.
- Support to the other areas in FENIN to get the economical-statistical data requested.
C) OTHER ACTIVITIES:
- Participation in the working group “Data Task Force Group� in EUCOMED, linked to the activities of information and data collection of this sector; structure of the questionnaires and type of studies.
- Follow up the activities of the “EAG Group� in EUCOMED, related to the financing and reimbursement issues.
