The Fenin Cardiovascular Sector was constituted in 1994 and today includes 23 manufacturing and distribution companies of cardiovascular, neurological and pain treatment products.
Within the cardiovascular area, 5 main fields of application can be highlighted: Vascular, Cardiac Stimulation, Cardiosurgery, Electrophysiology and Haemodynamics. The companies are actively and consistently involved in technological innovation within all these fields of application with the aim of putting at the disposal of healthcare professionals the most efficient and precise means of diagnostic and treatment of cardiovascular pathologies; in this way, it is sought to favour patient recovery and an enhanced quality of life.
One of the most important challenges facing the Sector is to reduce the time necessary for the new technologies to be accepted and to improve the Health Services perception of what they contribute. This is especially important in today’s environment, which, due to the devolution of healthcare responsibilities to the autonomous communities in 2002, now consists of an autonomous map with 17 interlocutors.
